Movie Plot: The film shows a journey of a teenage girl raised in rural India by a progressive father who is extremely keen on educating her daughter to metric and beyond. The film begins with a rural Indian village situated 200kms away from Banaras where the people are yet to bring social acceptance for women education. But one man takes the initiative to not only send her daughter to school but he made sure education was an integral part of his daughter’s life and he cultivated ambitions in her without bothering about the occasional social bashing that was happening every now and then.
